As the name suggests Tower fan, tower fans are narrow and tall kind of fan, and it’s ideal for small room due to their space-saving design or compact design and also it comes with new features such as built-in ionizers which helps in purifying the air.

The tower fan stands between 30 to 40 inches so that you can place a tower fan in the corner and a small narrow space where it won’t get in the way of people moving around them.

These Tower types of fans can oscillate or rotate from side to side, and oscillate with a 90 to 95 degrees to circulate the airflow over a wider area of a room if you want to require oscillating a fan full 360 degrees then these types of fans are also available in the local market.

Generally, tower fans are come with a rotating motor that helps to distribute the air around the whole room, exactly beside you see the panel button on the top which will let you switch between modes of operation and speeds or even a set a timer, and if you want to require a high-end model like remote control and a HEPA Filter or humidifier filter are also available.

These pedestal types of fans are quite similar to the tower fans, and it has a portable and lightweight but they consist of a tall stand for fans so that it referred to as a “stand fan” and are mostly suitable for a medium-sized room, also the pedestal fans are more dominant as compared to tower fans because it makes a cool large area.

The pedestal fans feature a set of 3 to 5 blades inside a tight cage that is held up by a long and sturdy pedestal; which is generally supported by a heavier disk that helps to balance them, and prevent them from falling, also most pedestal fans can be adjusted up to 16 inches to 40 inches or around 4 feet.

But this pedestal fan is unsuitable for a small room; moreover, it is not exactly fit for families with small children because the kids can put their fingers through the fan while it is in operation.

Most pedestal types of fans have an oscillating up to 270 degrees and some of them will offer rotation up to 180 degrees and also this pedestal fan offer a five different speed setting, and offered an advanced feature such as an air filter and timer but the biggest disadvantage is that when they used at high speed and running long time than it produces noise.

Table Fan or Desk Fan

This table fan can be divided into further two types namely traditional desk fan or able fan and air circulator, the desk fan generally has blades and its diameter range from 6 to 12 inches and this fans have standards three-speed option and electric cord also this table fan suitable for medium size fan.

Another side of the air circulators are powerful desk fans, sometimes called high-velocity desk fans, this fan is a little bit more expansive as compared to traditional desk fans, also it is ideal for the small, compact, and humid office atmosphere.

This types of fans cools a whole room even in hot seasons, and it is ideally used with a conditioning unit as a cool air circulator. This fan is small in size and portable so that you can easily place it on a desk or table.
